When renovating the Amsterdam concert hall, architect Evelyne Merkx attached particular importance to creating a perception of the interior as an integrated whole. Restoring the balance between the different areas of the building was a tightrope act between old and new. The designs of Josef Hoffmann dovetail perfectly into this eclectic setting with their timeless simplicity.
