This is the watchword at Soda Designers. This creed inspires the team’s efforts to develop clear, understated products that unobtrusively support our daily rituals, perhaps even improving them a little. Nada Nasrallah and Christian Horner have been collaborating under the Soda Designers label since 2000. The pair studied at the Vienna University of Applied Arts and ENSCI/Les Ateliers in Paris. Their backgrounds and work experience before setting up Soda Designers make interesting reading.
Christian Horner is a trained carpenter and Nada Nasrallah a goldsmith. Each also draws on experience garnered at well-known studios and companies. Soda Designers products do credit to the studio’s motto. Their creations are an elegant, laid-back and highly functional accompaniment to everyday life. Numerous awards, nominations and exhibitions pay testimony to the team’s success. Nada Nasrallah and Christian Horner live and work in Vienna.
