Design: Jaime Hayon (2017)The design approach was to create the bed as an overall concept. As a cocoon that provides protective shelter, but at the same time opens up to the outside. WINGS thus works both as a statement piece in the middle of the room, as well as placed practically on a wall.

Carefree dreaming on wings... The WINGS bed swiveling side wings allow an interplay between intimacy and openness. They can be moved independently in the direction of the bed base, where they surround the sleeping person like a cocoon. Or they can open up to make the bedroom a place where you do not just want to stay at night. Leather covered bedside tables as well as reading lights with adjustable LED spotlights are supported by a delicate, black structured powder-coated rod.
